"Hi My husband Jerry and I are just purchasing our 3rd form fitter packsaddle. And we just cant say enough good things about this very well made & very well thought out design of pack saddle!

We are using the same type of Form fitter on every thing, from our 17 hand draft cross to out 14 hand Haflingers. and the fit is spot on with each horse. We love the easy adjustment. And Most important, the horses are happy and comfortable.

"The Bear / Iron Cloth Panniers did their job extremely well on the Unbranded ride. They're expensive but you get what you pay for. We had a horse that got in a wreck and one of the pannier hooks came off the sawbuck and the pannier was dangling off the horse. The pannier was drug on a road for about a mile but the remarkably tough material didn't tear and we didn't lose the contents. What separates this pannier from other panniers, in my opinion, is that it has the high quality closing straps and lids to snug your contents up really tight. Normal duffel panniers can have a lot of looseness in them which can result in gear getting banged around and make noise on the trail, which I despise. The panniers are also handy because you don't need a pack cover to protect the contents from the elements or from falling out. To be honest I rarely think about my Bear / Iron Cloth Panniers and I prefer that. I have more important things than panniers to consider like my horses, logistics, the trail, and spending time with friends or family. They're great panniers. I'd certainly buy them again but won't need to for a long time because the ones I have will last for a long long time."

The pack saddle was awesome. I've never seen something so adjustable, there were adjustable straps for everything and we'd continuously twig the adjustments till we and the horse were happy. It worked great. Your sleeping bag sacks worked out great too!"
